Founded in 2014, Aston is a men’s fashion label focusing on men’s suiting and garments. The newcomer brought a fresh approach to classic suiting: fine details are enhanced, as is functionality. The Aston man’s love for style and innovation is reflected by an Aston suit. Today, Aston’s contemporary, affordable suits are found in many of Australia’s leading suit retailers.
Aston approached us with the need to create a brand strategy and identity. They were embarking upon a crowded and competitive marketplace, one with a number of well-established players with ongoing customer loyalty. Our job was to create an identity that would make them stand out while demonstrating credibility.
By defining the attributes of the Aston man, we crafted the brand statement: For Men of Style & Substance. A minimal, simple brand identity was created to honour the importance Aston places on details and production quality in all garments. The essence and personality of the brand is captured through the creative direction of the inaugural campaign imagery, which reflects notions of confidence, independence, and effortless style.
What was a daunting task, quickly become an easy and enjoyable process thanks to Raine & Makin. The amazing brand, strategy and online store that was created for Aston far exceeded my expectations.
